Schools vs Libraries

Doug Johnson, The Blue Skunk, posted this fantastic video today about the difference between libraries and schools.



I think schools should be more like libraries.

    I saw this video on Doug's blog too. I also enjoyed his characterization of libraries and plan on blogging about it. The challenge for a media specialist is to hold on to those positive aspects that he describes but still educate our students. We should be able to do both.
